Paul Short and his family moved to Arlington, Texas, in 2009. Paul founded two businesses after relocating to Arlington: Paul Home Repair and Master Movers.  As a devoted Christian, Paul attends Sunlight Baptist and Bethlehem Baptist Church.  The family stayed in Arlington until both sons graduated from high school in 2017, after which Paul made Crowley, Texas, his new home. 

 

Paul has four adult children: a daughter and son-in-law, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  The Short family continues to mourn the loss of Paul’s eldest son, who lost the battle against COVID-19 in 2021.

As a citizen of Crowley for seven years, Paul has seen everything the town could offer and feels Crowley is ready for a significant change.  As our next Major, Paul’s mission is simple.  Crowley First.  Not Dallas. Not Arlington. Not Mansfield. Crowley and its citizens deserve a candidate who will put their needs first.
